Geeky love quotes are pretty abundant, but here are some (32, specifically) of our favorites. Plus, if you’re looking for the easiest last-minute geek Valentine’s Day gift, here’s that too.
Today we were planning on posting our huge DIY wall-mounted Wampa head (if you follow us on on our new Instagram or Tumblr accounts, you know what we’re talking about). BUT, that will have to wait a couple days, while we do one last Valentine’s Day post. Because, geeks in love. (update: here’s the Wampa head 🙂 )
We had some of these gold and black frames around, which we got at a dollar store. Frames, plus a printer and a computer, equal instant geeky gift. Make a little gallery of them to surprise your most-loved nerd. We made a few for ourselves/each other plus a couple for friends (since some of our favorite quotes are good for platonic relationships as well).
It doesn’t get much easier than opening up any program on your computer that allows you to type – Photoshop, Word, etc – or going to a website like Picmonkey and using their free software (super easy. We use Picmonkey on a lot of our photos and collages). Type in a phrase. If you would like, adjust colors/fonts. Print. Put in frame – or just fold it – instant geek Valentine card. We made some with DIY photo mats (see top photo) – those are made with basic construction paper that we cut.
